Leadership Franklin was founded by the Franklin Business Leadership
Council in 1996. The Franklin Business Leadership Council is comprised
of business leadership in Franklin and Williamson County. This group
of leaders saw a need for education in leadership for a diversity of
races, religions and ages.
In addition, the Franklin Business Leadership Council sought to be
inclusive of a cross-section of the leaders in Franklin – participants
who represented both the public and private sectors. With careful education
and modeling from other leadership programs in the southeast, Leadership
Franklin was born.
Leadership Franklin is a non-profit community leadership organization
now in its 13th year, serving the community and educating leaders
in Franklin and Williamson County.
