David Rahinsky
Living in Williamson County for three years, David serves as the Deputy Police Chief. He is responsible for all uniform components of the Franklin Police Department and is responsible for the planning and oversight of the activities of 100 sworn officers. David has broad and extensive experience in all major facets of police work, including uniformed patrol, criminal investigations, and administration.
He received his BA degree from Florida Atlantic University and is currently completing his Masters Degree at Florida State. He graduated from the FBI National Academy, the Senior Management Institute for Police and the Southern Police Institute. He enjoys his family, traveling, and reading.
He is involved with the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, C.T. Police Academy, and the Police Explorers, which he has found especially rewarding.
David believes that his experience with Leadership Franklin will enable him to take information learned and apply it to his life of public service. Providing a professional, progressive and responsive police department will help ensure our high quality of life.
