Jennifer has called Williamson County home for twenty-one years! Serving as the Executive Director of Waves, Inc., she provides leadership and overall management for a wide range of services for young children who are experiencing delays in development as well as for adults with mental retardation and other disabilities.
Jennifer has been active in a variety of meetings and events in Williamson County. She is a member of the Patricia Hart Society, the Williamson County Geriatric Council, the Brentwood/Cool Springs Chamber Women in Business, and the Williamson County Arts Council. Through her personal involvement she has brought an awareness of the role that nonprofit organizations play in the community.
Jennifer received her BA degree from the University of Memphis, major in Sociology and minor in Math, from which she graduated Cum Laude. She received her M.S.S.W. from the University of TN, College of Social Work, with a major in Administration and Planning. She enjoys pilates classes, padding, bicycling, and hiking.
Jennifer loves being an ambassador for Franklin, and believes that Leadership Franklin will strengthen that role. She looks forward to working with her future classmates on projects, perhaps one focused on preparing young adults with mild to moderate disabilities to live independently.
